      The World's leading Plough Manufacturer

The development and manufacture of high quality agricultural implements have been the Kverneland brand's core competencies for more than 100 years. The Kverneland Group philosophy is to contribute to more efficient operations for the farmers with respect to both costs and yield. This is achieved through a leading edge in technology development, which is the basis for Kverneland's competitive advantage.

The brand Vicon has played an important role in the development of mechanised agriculture during the last 50 years. Early world successes such as the pendulum fertiliser spreader and the rotary rake have made Vicon a well-known brand for quality implements.

Taarup machines mean better feed quality

The Taarup range offers machines which cover the entire grass processing operation, from mowing, harvesting, baling and packing to mixing and feeding. Taarup's philosophy is simple: improved feed quality increases the quality of life for the livestock. A satisfied cow eats more and produces more milk and more meat. Higher feed quality leads to improved production quality and thereby also increases the farmers' earnings.

The world's leading pneumatic seeding machines

These machines are synonymous with quality, flexibility, innovative electronics and technology. The Accord brand has played a key role in the development of pneumatic seeding machinery since 1966. The product range consists of machines for conventional seeding and mulch seeding. The selection includes cultivator- and tractor-mounted seed drills, seed drills with front hoppers, seeding combinations and precision drills.

SIMBA started in 1976 when the founder Keith Burton identified a growing market for equipment to suit large (300hp+) tractors entering the UK, having spent 25 years farming in Africa (Simba is Swahili for lion). Development of the Company was rapid, and its products soon gained a strong reputation within the market place, particularly with professional farmers who were often involved with development work.

Whilst more established names within the industry faltered in the 80’s and 90’s Simba took advantage of opportunities such as the introduction of the straw burning ban and became a major force in the UK market during this time. Exports developed and the company now has a strong presence in Europe, the Middle East, and as far afield as Australia and New Zealand. Sales have also recently been made into the USA and Japan.
